Landlords who are told before they have to ask

The landlord is the customer a rental office actually has. Losing one costs the recurring fee on every unit they own, and they usually leave because they felt uninformed rather than because they were badly served.

How it works

On the first of every month, each landlord is emailed a portfolio statement covering occupancy, cheques received, income and any contract changes. It goes out in whichever language that landlord prefers, and it carries your branding — there is no PropertyDesk name or logo anywhere on it.

Nobody has to prepare it, approve it or remember it. The statement is assembled from the records your team already keeps, which also means it cannot disagree with what the system says when the landlord phones about it.

Landlords who want more than a monthly summary can be given access to the read-only portal, where they can look at their properties, leases, cheque schedule, statement, maintenance and invoices whenever they like.

Questions

Will the landlord know I use PropertyDesk?

Not from the report. The monthly statement is white-label — it carries your office's branding and contains no PropertyDesk name, logo or footer. As far as the landlord is concerned, their statement comes from you.

Can I stop it going to a particular landlord?

Yes. The monthly report is one of ten notification types, each switched independently, and it can also be turned off for an individual landlord. An admin copy of everything sent can be routed to your own inbox so you always know what went out.
